Terence Sinclair’s career has focused exclusively on driving commercial impact from research. A managing director at Citi for twenty years he was a top ranked equity analyst in mining and steel, then telecoms. His twelve years in research management involved leading Citi’s European research team, then becoming the firm’s first global franchise director across all asset classes. His experience involves addressing a broad range of research challenges – commercial impact, resource allocation, client marketing, product design, regulatory advocacy, international compliance, pricing. He was a member of Citi’s management committee for Europe, Middle East and Africa, and Citi’s UK operating committee. He had roles as Citi’s representative on industry bodies and as part of its team of advocates in regulatory affairs. He has an MA from Cambridge University where he read philosophy. He has been a trustee or chair of four performing arts charities.
